First of all, I would like to say that the definition of blogging success is different to different persons. For example, I know that there are many bloggers who love to write about celebrity sex tape, nude picture or naked pictures of famous persons. I always avoid them in my network. So, to me success is not only measures by traffic but also by ethics. It is against my moral idea to give publicity to such kind of content despite the fact that I know that if I cover them then getting million page views in my network is not impossible.

I know my field and I know how to attract traffic. Anyway, to me blogging success is a combination of several factors. Of course, most important is traffic and revenue. Am I earning enough? Then, I want to get personal satisfaction from my writing. When I see that some people are regularly thanking for finding some kind of information that they were looking for and they did not feel cheated with SEO and catchy title, it brings me a lot of satisfaction.

That is why; I think that quality content alone is enough to bring blogging success. Of course, I am not going to any extreme and saying that you don’t need to learn about SEO and you should not promote your content in the ways that people like Darren Rowse would suggest. If you have time then do it. However, if you do not have enough time then focus on producing quality content only. People will sooner or later find your content and talk about it.
