We are not officially any blog network. However, we have 14 blogs in our blogroll and I am the full time blogger. I have another 4 part time bloggers with me. We are doing it as a part of a small business company that I founded 2 years ago. I wrote in 3 blog networks in the past and I noticed that their main strength is that they have a number of blogs in their network and the links to each other somehow makes them stronger in Google and other search engines. So, two years, I linked our blogs together and noticed that it really helps a lot.

Another helpful thing about having a small blog network is that you can show your combined traffic to advertisers. Well, we still do not do that as our traffic is not that big. If our traffic reaches to a sizeable level then it is helpful.

The main benefit that I can find is that we can write on various topics. I enjoy writing on more than one topics. So, if I want then I can write on laptop, business, movie and sports. I enjoy writing on different topics. Another great benefit is that when you have more than one bloggers then you can focus on your area of interest.

For example, I personally like writing about business and I love to write in Asianbiz and South Asia Blog. On the other hand, Sahar Tadayyon has engineering background and she is comfortable writing about technology and she only writes in our laptop blog. Biplob Kishore Deb is mad about sports and he writes in Sports37 blog. Mehdi Hassan is a fan of movies and entertainment industry and he can write about it. Thus, we can complement each others skills.

There are some disadvantages too of having a small blog network. In the next entry, I will write about it.
