Thanks for the tip... I started a blog just three days ago and am loving writing in it daily. I was just wondering if it would seem too much to write every day, but it seems from your post here that it could only help... I have to see if there is enough inspiration as time goes by, because there is no doubt that I value quality and would not like to blog just to blog... thanks again... enjoy.

I definitely think one should try to apply something to ones blog each day, but it doesnt need to be new entries at all. It could easily be a improvement to a post you've already done, or an enhancement of tags in every post.

Ultimately, as Mr.I stated: Quality over quantity.

Personally, I think that updating frequency does not matter much. Ultimately, quality is the thing.
What is use of updating daily if someone puts out crap. Just take Yaro Starak as example. The guy usually puts only 1 post per week but the post has lot of information and usually goes about 3000 words. He gives quality and nothing else and his blog is liked!
