If you are a new blogger and you have just started your blog then the first feeling that you perhaps have is that you feel intimidated by the presence of many big blogs in your field. For example, this blog of mine is about blogging success and we all know very well that there are dozens of successful blogs and websites about this topic. So, how can I find success when there is a lot of competition in this field? This question may come to you if you are new. Although I have been in this field for the last three and a half years, I still have the same fear about a new blog. In this entry, I’m going to tell you why you should not be afraid and feel intimidated.

There is no barrier of Entry

If you have some kind of knowledge about business studies then you know that one of the factors that decide the amount of competition in any industry is barrier of entry. For example, if tomorrow you want, you cannot set up a laptop manufacturing company right away because it needs that you first fulfill a number of requirements. You need huge capital and you need to hire some people who know about manufacturing laptops and you need a production facility. You also need permission from the Government. However, if you want to enter into blogging then the good part is that there is no barrier of entry. Even you do not need to spend any money or a hire anyone or take permission from anyone.

This alone means that there will be always a lot of competition in your field. So, there is no need to feel intimidated because even if you become successful then you will have to face competition from new people. Thus, if this blog becomes successful then I still have to go through the competition. So, it is better not to feel intimidated and I should focus on my work.

Google Will Always Bring Some Visitors

Unless you are spamming, you do not need to be worried about getting visitors. Most new bloggers are worried about this matter. From my personal experience, I like to tell you that thanks to Google, your new blog will be noticed by some people sooner or later and if you can provide quality content then you do not need to worry. At least, you will not have problem with finding visitors thanks to the search engines.

Time and Tide wait for None

In our real life, we always want to become successful and when we do not see any success, we lose motivation for a work. The same goes for blogging too. I have seen many people who started a blog without giving much thinking and then became frustrated very quickly. Well, time is the essence and you have to remember that you have to make the best use of your time. In the early days, you have to give more time and effort for your blog and then you can expect quicker result. Of course, I always feel that one should try for a blog for at least one year before expecting any kind of good result.

So, if you are a new blogger and you feel intimidated by the success of others then it would just say to yourself that you will reach the position someday.
