Have you ever participated in a marathon race? I have not but I have understood that blogging is like a marathon race. It takes a lot of time for a blog to stand and get some decent amount of traffic. In the latest Google Pagerank update, this blog got a PR 4 and that is why I am delighted. However, that is not the end of the story. In fact, it is just the starting point of my race. Now, I have a base to start and my entries will be indexed by Google more easily compared to the past. I have to try harder to get a PR 5 and then 6 in the next 6 months. It is not easy. In fact, in my blogging life of 3 and half years, I have not seen higher PR than 6 for any of my blogs. So, even if I can get 6 for this one, I will be very happy.

Even having Pr 6 does not mean anything unless you work hard and you work daily and try to bring visitors. That is why, I am again telling you that blogging is like a marathon race. There is no scope of short cut. Today, in our network, we already have more than 16,000 page views and may be at the end of the day, it may become nearly 20,000. It is a very traffic for a small blog network from third world country. However, there is no room for celebration because tomorrow is a new day and we have to work hard to get traffic again.
